the purpose of establishing Big

Until now the fashion industry developed and built a system around Europe, but the current situation is that there are no such systems in place yet to support young designers in Asia, which is the purpose of establishing Big. We started this project because we believe that a platform to expand fashion globally, not only in Europe, is necessary in Asia. Big is the international platform for the designers who will create the next generation and the leaders who will solve the problems of the fashion industry. This international award competition based in Asia was made to provide the funds and environment to start a fashion business, continuous support programs, a community that goes beyond the industry, and the ability to expand activities globally. This capital business partnership offers to connect domestic and international companies around the world.

Big Design Award

The first “Big Design Award” provides funds to start a fashion business and support of that environment for the next generation of designers, as well as a wide range of exchange with companies and professionals that overcame the barriers of the industry. We hope that new possibilities of fashion will emerge, such as ideas and proposals of future human image and fashion, that will sustain creation and prevent future designers from vanishing. We will, of course, support designers who have the potential to conduct activity globally within the existing fashion system, as well as designers who have imagination and a fresh outlook toward fashion and will influence this system.
